Education for girls in India has come a long way in the last few decades. There’s a growing tide of initiatives launched by the Government of India and NGO working for girl child education that are dedicated to bridging the gender gap and offering children equal opportunities to learn and grow.
NGOs like Bal Raksha Bharat (also known as Save the Children). They have launched multiple initiatives aimed at providing girls with access to quality education, even in remote and underserved areas. Among the special programmes initiated by Bal Raksha Bharat are ‘Project Bachpan’ and their collaboration with the RCScE to implement ‘Hub & Spoke’ models in schools, promoting the vision of girl education across Rajasthan.
